Global Austin Healey Sprite Newsletters
Are you interested in receiving a printed newsletter devoted entirely to the Austin-Healey Sprite? SPRITE is just that type of newsletter! The idea of SPRITE newsletters began in 1985 to join enthusiasts around the world together. The newsletters cover everything of interest to the Austin-Healey Sprite enthusiast in a printed form. It is produced four times each year during Winter, Spring, Summer, and Fall. The newsletter size is four or five pages in length. Receiving the printed version of SPRITE is easy and inexpensive. You can do it in a couple of ways. Follow the instructions and you will soon be receiving SPRITE newsletters.

Subscribing to the Printed Versions of SPRITE Newsletters
An attempt to locate those of you who have actively subscribed to the printed versions of SPRITE Newsletters in the past, under different circumstances and directions, has been made. If possible you will be sent more newsletters. If you should be receiving newsletters and have not been getting them PLEASE contact us.

As of 1-20-08 We do not have accurate addresses for these past active enthusiasts. If you know them have them contact SPRITE. They may be “lost” to SPRITE but surly not forgotten.

Subscribing to the printed version of SPRITE Newsletters has changed. To reduce the workload please follow these new directions. Here is the way to receive printed SPRITE Newsletters. Send no more than eight pre-addressed self-adhesive labels. (No more please as there isn’t the means and place to store them.) Your address needs to be printed on these self-adhesive labels. They will be used to send you the newsletters.

Include eight (or more) first class U.S. postage stamps. First class U.S. postage stamps are now $0.41 for a one ounce mailing in the USA. Please note any extra postage stamps you send will be used-up to send SPRITE issues to new Sprite enthusiasts. Sprite enthusiasts in other countries should include a financial donation in the amount of the postage needed to mail one ounce to you by ground and airmail postal service. One ounze to Canada is $0.69 US, England & Austraila is $0.90 US.

How to Donate to the Cost to SPRITE
If you wish you may donate to SPRITE through Paypal. The SPRITE Paypal account is dr.moses@verizon.net. As an example, in the July/August 2007 endeavor we have sent a SPRITE mailings to over 700 enthusiasts in the US and around the world.

Donations towards printing SPRITE Newsletters and SPRITE projects are appreciated and needed but are not mandatory. The number of issues of SPRITE made and distributed depends upon what donations are received. Every penny donated is used in making and sending the newsletters. This is not a for profit business. As extra funds become available, complimentary issues are sent to encourage more Sprite enthusiasts to subscribe. These complimentary issues are expensive because we must pay for the postage and printing..

Please Understand
SPRITE Newsletters is the hobby of one person, Rick Moses. The newsletters are being made for fun and to honor the Austin-Healey Sprite. It is not a business. Hundreds of dollars of personal money is used for this hobby. Sometimes the hobby becomes overwhelming! Some of the printed Newsletters have gone from being a couple of pages to almost 40 page books. Life’s personal situations may also cause the SPRITE Newsletters and other SPRITE functions to unintentionally stop for a time. Since 1985 there have been over 49 newsletters and 4 every five year fantastic SPRITE meets. Understanding the magnitude and challenges of these projects one must realize donations, stamps, etc. are regrettably not refundable. not refundable.

Sprite Articles are Needed
The SPRITE newsletter editor needs something original to print. SPRITE's appetite for newsworthy material must be met for each issue to be produced. One item is great but each issue needs to be filled. Please send articles, tech, info., new/old Sprite photos, art, cartoons, trivia, sale/want/trade items, and ads of interest to Sprite enthusiasts on a continual basis. No newsworthy items means no SPRITE newsletters.

Back Issues of SPRITE
There are numerous printed back issues of SPRITE newsletters available. There are over 49 to choose. Some issues have been reprinted to supply the demand. Some are currently out of stock. Use the links here (when it is available) to see what you would like. Contact me with what you want and I will send them to you. Once you receive the back issues kindly help to defer the cost by sending a donation to SPRITE.
